27" monitor for sharp text and low motion blur

Post by maze » 26 Jan 2020, 12:37

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a monitor that will be used in 2D/desktop mode, no gaming. Need text to be sharp and easy on the eyes. Would like minimal motion blue when scrolling down a webpage, document, etc. My current monitor is Eizo FG2421 that I learned from BlurBusters years ago. Its pretty good, but I would like something in higher resolution and hopefully better blur reduction tech.
  • 27" with some form of motion blur reduction in 2D/desktop mode
  • 2560x1440 resolution
  • Preferably PWM flicker free
  • Physical Input button (if its OSD then should be DDC/CI compatible)
Will get either AMD or Nvidia graphic card that best matches the monitor.

All 27" IPS QHD 165Hz 1ms with GSync module + ULMB can be used for this task.

One is the Viewsonic Elite XG270QG, one of the best Pixel Policy Warranty brands, just set QHD@100Hz and turn ULMB On at OSD, enjoy !

Unfortunately today you can see a bit of crosstalk in ULMB mode, but until there are QHD +240Hz with motion blur reduction, you not have solution for this issue.

I think there are a external device you can connect to monitor USB in order to manage OSD like a remote control, Viewsonic Elite Ally.
