All the media attention is understandably on the new 1440p/240hz and 1080p/240hz releases this year.
That's all fine and good, but for my money, 1080p/144hz is still the sweet spot for most people, most of the time, all things considered.
Usually I would just buy the venerable gold standard ViewSonic XG240R and be done with it, but they're currently £270+ in the UK, which is, too much.
So what is the pound for pound 1080p/144hz price:performance champion in early 2020?
I'm eyeing the (IPS!) AOC 24G2U at £179.99 and the LG 24GL650-B at £144.99
The value King of 1080p 144hz monitors in 2020?

Have the G24U2. Very happy but sadly dead pixel.
Really good monitor though.

Thanks for the feedback, Stitch7.
Already had an LG 24GL600F and wasn't blown away.
I think I'll give the 24G2U a whirl.

I don't like the way it does strobed though. Motion doesn't feel clearer, response times cause a crosstalk.
