Lurker for years, wants to buy a +200hz monitor in 2020

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well.
I'll make this quick, I think.
I play a lot of competitive PvP FPS games (Apex, Overwatch, CoD, etc) and I'd like to give +240fps a try (I currently have a Aorus a27qd, chose IPS because it looked better. I tried a cheap Asus and it caused so much eye fatigue so fast). My main concerns are minimum ghosting and input lag to maximize my performance and avoid fast eye fatigue. Maybe if I had perfect vision, I wouldn't mind so much, just get a standard monitor and call it a day but l do have some vision problems and it can be hard to focus on objects if they move fast, especially when my vision is tired.
With that said, what are some good monitors I should check out right now or should I wait for any upcoming ones?

My budget is from €200-€600.

Xn253qx or xf252. In my opinion is the best option if you want minimum ghosting and input lag at native resolution.

If 144Hz 1440p is your goal, then hang on a bit longer. Your Aorus is hard to beat and all the 240Hz 1440p are all TN and costs more than your price range.
Now, if you're willing to go down to 1080p, I have good news. 1ms IPS is what I recommend nowadays for people like you. 240Hz 1ms IPS is currently available in your price range.
There are multiple options, whether it's an ASUS 280Hz or a ViewSonic 240Hz, I think this is the type of display that is a natural upgrade to your current 60Hz IPS.
Yes, TN is better for a lot of situations, but your eyes are used to IPS, and you want the fastest ergonomic good-colors display, and 1ms IPS is so much closer to TN than yesterday's IPS. Basically 1ms IPS is much closer to TN-speed than yesteryear IPS-speed, even if not quite as fast as the fastest TN.
If you get a TN, stick to good colors TN such as Viewsonic XG2402 or others, with all the ergonomic features like good factory color calibration + low blue light modes + PWM-free dimming. Also, if you do IPS, then impressively, the ViewSonic XG270 seems to have slightly less lag than ViewSonic XG2402 (a well known low-latency TN).

Hi everyone, thank you so much for the replies. I believe I'll have to go for a fullhd +240hz monitor as it fits my budget for a monitor with those 2 specs PLUS good image and easy on the eyes.
Some of the recommended monitors sound like the perfect match. My only concern is that I have tried FullHD on my 27" Aorus and when I play on my girlfriend's cheaper 25" Asus non IPS monitor, the characters look less blurry, it's noticeable on long-range targets. I guess it's related to the pixel density? With that said, I'd buy that Asus 280hz or the viewsonic in a heartbeat if it was 25" but most suggestions here are 27 inches so I'm a bit hesitant.
Any thoughts on this?

The Dyac or the ELMB look like they'd be great for long gaming sessions! I'm going to keep my eyes peeled either for an UltraHD 240hz monitor 27" or a FullHD +240hz 25" monitor with a nice ghost-reducing feature like those!

may i ask why you would rec. the aw2521hf over the vg259qm ? the alienware 27" had lots of problems with blackscreens (ofc i hope it is fixed in the 24.5" version) and it has no strobing at all 40hz less and will be priced higher ..
