VS XG240R/AOC G2590PX 144hz in 2020

Hello guys

I looking for a 144hz monitor with lowest possible input lag/response time for the past two weeks. I play mainly CS:GO for fun, but since a lot of the other players have better monitors i am at disadvantage with my ancient DELL U2412M. I don't have the hardware to maintain 240+ fps on all maps on CS:GO(usually 200-300 fps depends on map and location) so I am looking for 144hz monitor. Since I am coming form 16:10 I actually prefer 24.5" because 24 feels small in height.
First I bought Zowie 2411p but returned it because i don't like the stand. I like to adjust my monitor more ez. Smoothness was ok and i saw the topic for OC but I am with with RX580 AMD GPU and I didn't try it. I returned it.
Since then I am reading forums and reviews and can't find a single monitor without major flaws.
I liked Asus VG258QR but in the topic here most people are not satisfied there are blur while scrolling pages etc.
I am reading that XG2402 is very good monitor but I can't buy it in my country it's not available.
What I can buy is VS XG240R but it's 290 euro. I read that they are basically the same monitor is that true? And it has FreeSync which will be good for other games which are not so heavily competitive as CS:GO
Also I like AOC G2590PX appearance and stand but can't find any good review for this monitor like rtings, prad or something like that. it costs around 230 euro. Also there are a lot of comments on AOC bad build quiality

What is you recommendation for 144hz TN monitor in 2020? Maybe buying 240hz monitor for future proof? I see in reviews that they perform a lot worse in 60 hz? How they will perform if switched to 144hz?
