Would you go for the Acer Nitro 25 inch or the 25' inch version of the Asus?hkngo007 wrote: ↑29 Feb 2020, 21:19Early access haha. Tftcentral.
Mag251rx seems like it might be pretty good.
Better response time compared to vg279qm but also more overshoot.

MAG251RX seems to be good, still don't see it in europe yet, at 360$ in amazon.com seems to be really good value for money
Re: 240hz TN/ips motion clarity
Would love to see a side by side (TN & New IPS) in terms of ghosting.

I found a side by side

Re: 240hz TN/ips motion clarity
Do you always use strobing, or do you always use non-strobing?
If you use strobing, and use lower refresh rates, the XG270 versus XL2546 becomes much more similar.
See XG270 Strobe Crosstalk Photos. It's very competitive with DyAc as long as you don't mind using the refresh rate headroom to reduce strobe crosstalk. DyAc is really good and very flexible, supports Blur Busters Strobe Utility, and is one of the better TN-based strobing available on the market. That said, XG270 at 120Hz has less crosstalk than more than half of TN panels sitting here (At 120Hz versus 120Hz, that is). Depends on your priorities.

Re: 240hz TN/ips motion clarity
I'm personally waiting for the XL2546SMate, thank you, that video is gold
I think i will stick with TN panels for sure after seeing this comparison
Am going to do research on the newer(compared to the older XL2546 tn version on that video) 240hz tn panels
Re: 240hz TN/ips motion clarity
Because you intend to use strobing? I will stick to TN as well (which is also why I no longer await the release of the XV253QX, which is actually already available in some countries), but I think I will stick with 240Hz and G-Sync, so I’m wondering if it’s even worth waiting for the XL2546S at this point instead of going for the XN253QX...
Re: 240hz TN/ips motion clarity
Yeah I don't use G-sync. I'd rather have good strobing @ 240hz without losing brightness.TwentyFoe wrote: ↑02 Mar 2020, 05:10Because you intend to use strobing?
