240hz vs 144hz csgo FPS question

Hello,

I have an 144hz screen and a 240hz screen and i play csgo at competitive level.

I get 250+ fps with my i7 4790k oc but in some situations it can drop to around 200fps

My question, is it better to go 144hz with my fps or should i play 240hz? What happens really when i drop to 200fps, does it cause input lag or something?

Really appreciate if anyone knows the answer to this, i play without freesynd/gsync dont want input lag

240Hz with vsync off has lower input lag than 144Hz, regardless of how much FPS you get. So keep it at 240Hz.
