VG259QM owners, try Racing Mode RGB to 96-95-100, this is giving me good results in terms of color accuracy.
I'm still looking for an icm profile tho..

FPS mode and RTS mode are good to watch Anime or play games but the color deviation is imo way too much.
I will try it tomorrow ty. What's ur other settings?
240hz OD60, Adaptive Sync ON (Cap at 235fps), ShadowBoost OFF, Brightness 90 and Contrast 80.
I was considering trying SoftMCCS to see if it was possible to increase sharpness in software without using Vividpixel since I want to avoid post processing.

OR

280hz OD80, Adaptive Sync OFF, ELMB-Sync ON, ShadowBoost OFF, Brightness 60 and Contrast 80.
Strobing at 280hz>>>>>Strobing at 240hz, 280hz strobing is basically perfect with very low input lag, however I wouldn't mind OD60 even at 280hz...

I was considering trying SoftMCCS to see if it was possible to increase sharpness in software without using Vividpixel since I want to avoid post processing( nope, sharpness and gamma are hidden)

Edit 1: I'm using Asus' VG259QM icm profile

Edit 2: I'm RUNNING 240hz 10 bit on the VG259QM!!!
I was trying to follow this guide (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kl-Ata9ql2A)
I opened CRU, I clicked on the (active) profile and deleted the main detailed resolution, mine was 1920x1080 60hz.
I was trying LCD Reduced 240hz, after setting it and clicking on restart64 in the CRU package it didn't work and CRU automatically set it from LCD reduced to Manual for some reason.
To my surprise both the monitor OSD and W10 are currently saying that the monitor is running at 240hz 10bit and I'm already noticing a good improvement in colors, which is something I wasn't expecting.
It used to automatically revert to 8 bit after I set it to 10 bit in the Amd Radeon Software, I'll try to restart the PC and see if it retains 10 bit colors.

Edit 3: Yes, it does retain the settings, this is great! I took a screenshot if you guys want to copy the settings I'm using and try it yourself https://imgur.com/a/mFHvq5n

I watched some 10 bit content with MPC-Be+MadVR (I pressed CTRL+J to make sure D3D11 and P010 are 10 bit) and I must say that 10 bit truly turn this monitor colors on Racing mode from a 7/10 to a 9/10.
Racing Mode + 10 bit + icm profile is finally showing the potential of this panel.

Edit 4 Final: 10bit 280hz doesn't work but making a detailed resolution seems snappier idk why.
Thanks for sharing that cru res. Seems to work on my VG279QM with nvidia as well. Is there any downside to using 10bit? I feel like my eyes just got so overwhelmed when I switched, but it definitely looked nicer.

There isn't any downside(only 10bit HDR increase input lag), you won't notice any color banding at 10 bit.

Idk why Asus didn't set 10bit 240hz out of the box since this monitor is completely capable of it.

Even with an overkill DP 1.4 cable(to make sure I get the entire DP 1.2 bandwith) I can't manage to run 280hz 10bit but since I'm only playing at 240hz with 235fps cap it is not an issue.

I've been downloading a lot of 10bit h265 anime/movies recently (I watch contents with MPC-BE + MadVr to enable 10 bit and hardware encoding on my 5700xt)

The only time I think 280hz should be used instead of 240hz is when you are planning to use the strobing feature.
The amount of crosstalk at 280hz is incredibly low, noticeably better than at 240hz, I've been testing ELMB-Sync + Adaptive Sync with 270fps cap (It somehow feels more responsive than 277 or 275fps cap idk why) and ELMB sync without Adaptive Sync with uncapped fps and I must say that I'm in love with this feature.

The input lag penalty is extremely low and 100% worth the tradeoff.

Have you guys experimented with ELMB-Sync?

Wow thanks for the settings. It's working so far on my VG259qm monitor as well. This monitor keeps getting better lol.

Have you guys experienced any stuttering issues, or freesync issues?

Not sure if it's related to the monitor or my 5700 XT, but I get quite a bit of stuttering/frame sync issues in Destiny 2. I'm running the stock settings (240Hz, 60 OD.) I usually sit around 140-200 FPS, so maybe this is the issue?

Anyways, i'm not really that experienced when it comes to monitors, so maybe someone can help me out. Not sure if changing the refresh rate to 144Hz will help with this or if it's strictly a GPU issue.

I have a similar setup with a 5700xt and the VG259QM.
I basically always play with freesync capped at 235fps, the gameplay is completely stutterfree.
Freesync + fps cap + Vsync can help with frame pacing if you are having fps spikes.

Thanks for the suggestions, unfortunately i'm still experiencing stuttering. It may just be my graphics card. Not really sure.

I noticed another odd bug, sometimes when I alt tab from a game (mainly Destiny 2) back to windows, freesync or something messes up and Windows gets stuttering as well (monitor shows around 86Hz, when usually it's at 240Hz.) I have to turn the monitor off and back on for it to register as 240Hz.

Considering doing another clean install of Windows and see if it fixes it, or possibly install 1909 instead of 2004..

sometime it happens to me aswell in Overwatch, it seems to be the only game affected, idk if that's an issue with 2004 or a monitor issue, sometime pressing Alt-Enter two times (to turn a fullscreen game to window mode and to fullscreen again) seems to fix this issue.

I noticed if you have Full Screen Optimizations off it introduces this delayed alt+tab.

I agree, FSO off seems kinda bugged with 2004
