I have a few questions about the ASUS overdrive modes. Do I have to change which overdrive to use depending how many FPS I can get depending on what game I play, or is it when I use VRR/change the HZ on the monitor?

I got the monitor yesterday, loving it and i haven't done much to the settings
i use 280hz with od60, i used the LG 27GL850 before this.

I have the Omen X 25F, Omen X 27 (1440p, 240hz) and the LG 27 850. How are you liking this after a bit especially compared to the LG? Did you go 25 or 27? Interested in motion clarity comparison, depth (some TN's to my eyes can feel like they have less depth or maybe that is normal or the contrast?), and just anything overall. Wanting the 25 but have to wait due to stock. I'm the guy despite perfect vision sits really close to the screen and even though the 27 I could grab today it seems impractical choice with resolution and my nose on screen.

Hey i most defo prefer it to the 27GL850. when i purchased the 27GL850 coming from a PG258Q my performance in FPS games dipped quite a bit. the 144hz you cannot compare to 240 in my opinion. i went for the 25 version, motion clarity for me is defo better than the 27GL850 however the 27GL850 is clearer in slower images and has better colours for sure.

I would say if you sit really close to the screen go for the smaller version.

I am looking at the XL2546s due to just wanting the upmost advantage and clarity in FPS games Dyac+ looks like a good feature so i may swap over to the benq.

I had a XL2546S on order and was being prepped to ship a few weeks ago but it is missing a critical feature with no overlay I canceled in time before it shipped. Seeing some reviews may convince me to try again. 100% going for 25. I absolutely love the speed of my Omen X 27 but prefer my Omen X 25F for size. Hoping to see the VG259QM come in stock soon. I only order from NewEgg when its critical. Amazon Warehouse had these "renewed" over MSRP and I hard to say when they will land. Locally these are sold out. Big old PIA.

I would, I see ghosting at 80 (which is the 280Hz preferred overdrive), I lower it to 60 on 240Hz

I guess I could even lower it more at lower FPS
