i think the TN monitor is much better for that

result : the benq is much butter, you can see the eyes clearly
with mine, it's always blurry

I think that's the thing about IPS vs TN still in that case, pick your poison as said in my previous threads.

I already 'lost' a week learning about people's opinions with these 240Hz IPS/TN displays and leaning towards one conclusion.

If you only play FPS on PC and can achieve enough FPS then 240Hz TN in 24/27 inches 1080p is way to go.

I use Eizo 2735 (IPS 144hz) for a few years and while it has been very good in colors and motion, using Zowie xl2746s (the newest 240Hz TN Panel) for 1 day changed my whole perception of fast-pace gaming. I have no idea if Eizo is that old in terms of technology or if Zowie was just a proper TN.

I'm still continuing my research and coming up with as stupid ideas as just buying 'the golden standard in TNs' of Zowie XL2546. It just feel a little bad to purchase a product that's been on market already for 1+ year and has upcoming new model of 's' version coming up

i have a TN 1440p, 165hz
i am gonna test it more with the ips at the same time

i can't right now, i'll back for my result

but the benq is better than my actual TN

But I returned xl2746s already, it had stuck pixel and they availability in stores is 0 now.

What I worry a lot is that after purchasing fast TN and having some time to play slower games like new Assassin Creed for example I won't stand the image quality.

I would almost purchase 1440p 240Hz TN of Omen X27 but I hear horror stories about grainy coating making it a total garbage.
It's crazy to make a choice at the moment. Good luck with your findings and thanks again for sharing information.

did you try any recent monitor before this? like vg279qm or the msi mag251rx?
