I think I will send the VG259QM back, in the 6 days that I have been using it I keep getting eye strain.
I'm curious if you've been sticking to a same setting, or using many different settings (ELMB-SYNC ON/OFF, different Hz, different OD).
I know people get vision discomfort from even minor overdrive adjustments, while others couldn't care less. Sensitivity to the fog of faint artifacts hugely varies between humans, as they're often dissonances relative to real life (since motion in real life doesn't generate even a 2% trailing fog behind motion).
There are also many causes of eyestrain, including brightness, contrast, strobing, artifacts, ghosting, etc, and different people get bothered by different things (consciously and subconsciously).
Thanks Chief, I really appreciate!
Only the first day I tried the ELMB and sync funtion only to see if it works.
As a cs:go player I don't use any sync, my settings for the next days were indeed the same;
framecap in-game at 300fps, monitor at 240hz, 60 OD, brightness 12, contrast 76, vividpixel 25,
shadow boost off.
For desktop use I've got the blue light filter at level 3.
I still got enough day's for returning so decided to give it some more time maybe I get used to it.
Also made a appointment with my optometrist to see if my glasses are still ok.
