Best monitor for low (50-100) FPS?

I've been wondering:

Do the LCD monitors were better on the eyes before using LED? I've seen people that had ( or have) 0 problems on old LCDs, but buying new ones is a pain for them.

And about Plasma TVs, seems they have low input lag (not really sure), although it can only show 60Hz, but is "strobed". I'd really like to try one as people compare to OLEDs, and a mix of CRTs, but not really sure if worth it on "real situations" or can be worse somehow; also counting the glossy finish, (reported?) low brightness (?), and well, huge size (i wonder how pixels could be seen on that 42" TV 1080p at 1-2meters).

I've read that the SED and FED patents would expire soon i wonder if someone will try something with these :D .

I tested 50Hz and 60Hz on XL2411P with Blur Reduction and 60Hz is fine but at 50Hz is 2 issues - read my topic - viewtopic.php?f=4&t=6074. I'll back to CRT monitor because CRT monitor is still better at 50Hz than any LCD-LED monitor. ;)

Thank you i'll check it ;) .
I guess that without strobing 50fps is not worth it compared to the CRT.

Can i ask, overall, how do you see, feel the XL2411P? I see it is a popular monitor (wish it had VRR, but seems not a lot of people care so maybe is good enough).

Still thinking if i should try the Plasma :D .

My monitor hasn't G-SYNC/Freesync support but I don't care G-SYNC.

I don't like any "color" Plasma TV because Plasma isn't similar to CRT - Plasma is much softer flicker (= much more motion blur) than CRT but I like to watch monochrome (orange) plasma monitor to get much hard flicker - like CRT. :)

More blur and worse colours than CRTs? Damn! I've read that Plasmas were great on blur and colours...maybe depends on the Plasma model?

Well, i'll keep checking for info but i hate how hard is to find a good monitor :D (believe or not i have been searching for 2 years, and just can't decide xD ).

Panasonic Plasma should enable 600Hz (PAL but not NTSC) or 720Hz (NTSC but not PAL) sub-field drive to reduce motion blur. But watch monochrome plasma monitor - eg: https://youtu.be/G3SezAueIPo

If we want retrogaming, we wait the future flat monitor (maybe Viewsonic XG270 for future firmware or other brand) with 50Hz (most people for TV simulated) and 60Hz single strobe. Or now we may back to CRT monitor. ;)

I admit i didn't understand the "monochrome plasma monitor" until i checked the video :D , thought Plasma was a "modern" technology :D . (i also admit this forum is way to advanced for me and when reading Chief post i barely undertand half or less xD ).

About the plasma i'm looking (Panasonic TX-P42S10E) it shoud work at 400Hz, no idea if will get more than 60Hz (read somewhere that maybe 100Hz) but also not sure if its 1080p will work on PC (HDMI), also, seems it has a very glossy coating (i have a window close) and i'm also worried as i've read it emits Electro Magnetic Frecuencies-Radiations, but not sure how would be these... also Plasma seems to "buzz" sometimes pretty loud. But still people praises it a lot.

Not sure if maybe an IPS 240Hz would give me less problems, but some say is plain a waste under 150Hz (although strobing seems to work better at 120fps?). But trying to find info is really confusing and the only way to be sure seems to try them by yourself but still panel-monitor lottery... so hard xD

Well, i don't really want retrogaming, just want something to not really worry for a long time and that i can (easily) use on any circumstances like high FPS and low FPS games (=old and new demanding ones), nice text and, overall, good on the eyes.
