New monitor settings help

Hello I recently purchased an Asus TUF VG32VQ and its the first monitor I've owned that hasn't been a budget monitor. I was going through some setup but I don't know much about some of the options. I tried googling them but didn't get many results. My main questions are would it be a good idea or a bad idea to turn on ELMB sync and or shadow boost. I'm also not 100% sure about vividpixel but I did read somewhere it generally made things worse. I set it for RTS/RPG mode and then turned vividpixel to 0 since that's what looked the best to me and I'm not really sure how much I should mess around with the colors and contrast and such.
