BenQ Zowie XL2546S vs MSI Optix MAG251RX : Final Choice

Hello everybody

I can't make up my mind despite reading several topics in this forum

I want to decide now, what to choose between these two screens?
I bought an ACER fast ips which I will render, an alienware TN 240hz which I will also render

Now that I know the best IPS is the MSI and the best TN is the BENQ
I would like to finally decide ...


Main use: competitive online games (cs: go, valorant, lol, pubg), use at 240hz
I would also like a screen that supports games in 60hz, 100hz

I know the benq is faster than the msi, but is this difference noticeable in competition?

For the xl2746S yes it's not great. But for the games you listed, the xl2546s is the best choice as you would try to max your fps.

I just ordered the msi after having the benq xl2540 for about a year. As long as the motion clarity is similar or better than the benq I'm keeping it. Ive used a benq for years now from the 60hz rl2455hm to the xl2540 and recently getting a 1440p dell TN monitor made me realize how bad the benqs colors are. I think the msi will be the better monitor but if you want the best performance monitor possible id probably wait for that 360hz monitor by asus and pay extra. Also, I don't know if the new benq will support gsync but gsync is a must in every game besides csgo because the fps cap in cs is trash and third party limiters cause input lag. So i'd give it a try and you can always return it if you feel like you arent playing well with it but you are getting more for the buck with the msi specs in the long run.

if u care about speed get xl2546s but again the monitor suffer from colors its so washed out here review of it someone say its too foggy

Sorry but that's not a review, just some random comment with a poorly made few second video in Chinese and seems like complete bs. Vlkfree, I'd wait until a reputable website reviews the XL2546S and then make a decision. I don't know how it will compare with the XL2746S as they're different sized panels and can have different characteristics. However, I can definitively say there is nothing "blurry" or washed out with the XL2746S and I suspect the same is true with the XL2546S.
