I am looking to purchase my first 240hz monitor and there are quite a few options to choose from so I am not sure which one would suit my needs best and I think you guys could give some good recommendations for my needs.
I mostly/only play competitive games such as fortnite,csgo,valorant,overwatch etc at 1080p so I would prefer the monitor to be ~24 inches as I heard that is the most optimal size for it. I am not too concerned about how good the colour reproduction is, I am just looking for good performance so low response times and input lag. I am also looking for the monitor to be freesync + g-sync compatible because I am currently using an amd gpu but will be upgrading to a nvdia gpu in the near future. I probably will not be using motion blur reduction modes however it is something I would like to experience as I have never used a monitor with a strobed backlight so having that would be a plus but only if it has minimal strobe crosstalk.
I hope that is enough information to make some suggestions. I know that newer panels will have better performance in these aspects however I don't know how to look for only recent monitors as most websites don't have a filter for that so if anyone would be able to help with that also it would be appreciated. There's a big thread about 240Hz IPS monitors, you can start there. I got a 280Hz IPS, but maybe that's too fast for you, since you specified 240?
