the pc will be used for gaming, games like apex, warzone on low setting to reach high fps but also games like reddead2, hitman high setting for visuals and lower fps.
not sure if I should go for a 240hz monitor since even on low settings only a hand full of games can keep at 240 or should just stick to a 144hz for stable fps
then on top of that which panel to pick, from what I gathered tn is better for apex like games because of the response times but has low color representation and ips are the opposite more lag but more color
would it be best to get a two monitor set up one high fps and one more about graphics or is there a monitor that can do both.
having a monitor for higher fps would be the priority, also playing at 1080p but I can jump to 1440p

Dont forget to make yout PC or monitor keep cool.. To make your machine easy and decreased lagging
Re: help/recommendation for monitor, first time builder
theres only a handful of games that really anyone can play at 240, like the common esports games.
I too am interested in the 240 vs 144... I got a zowie 2411P and with all of its settings its super smooth.. I don't know how the 240hz panels perform in comparison, aside from them being 240hz.
In other words I too would ask, is a really great 144hz panel better than a budget - mid tier 240hz for comp gaming?

I think this should also be adjusted to your PC ... if you want to combine good power to play the PES 2020 game comp example ... enough with 144Hz ... because the graphics displayed are not so varied ... different if you want to play adventure games, PUBG, FORTRESS, COD needs high graphics .. considering all the landscapes in the game. in conclusion, 144 hz is enough for a comp game like PES or its whole ... to play a variety of game genres that satisfy 240 hz, I highly recommend it. hopefully can help you.. remember this will make you spend a fairly expensive budget

My feelings on 144Hz vs 240Hz boil down to the fact that 240Hz can play 30/60fps video without stuttering.
I had 144Hz and noticing the stutter every few seconds was annoying enough for me to decide to go for 240Hz. Sure, I might not hit 240fps in every game, but with G-Sync it doesn't matter.
