yup if the color profile says mag272 then you are currently USING the correct ICC profile. Be mindful that sometimes there are panel variances. Dont' tinker with anything other than brightness.

I pick 90 for gaming and 30 for general computer use

for contrast, 70 for general computer use and 74 for gaming(no higher).

if u have nvidia control panel, i suggest you increase the saturation when you game. It will give a beautiful vibrant color.

Ok, cool. Thanks ! So color profile set up and done.

Onto the other thing. Did you read what I did in the CRU app ? And see the video and screenshot on what it's doing in my Nvidia control panel now ? Let me know if I have it set up right, cause I suspect I accidentally erased some resolutions ? IDK, maybe you can explain after looking over my post there. But this one is important to me, cause more than looks, I want to first make sure my input lag and responsiveness is absolutely best it can be before I try to game seriously on this set up.

Ok, RLCS, got my first issue/followup question -

I did ALL the instructions. So lets go in order:

1) The CRU. I think I might have messed something up here. Its installed, and I followed instructions but not in the instructions is whether you delete and "Add" in the Extension Block part or the Detailed Resolutions part. So I did both.

Now when I go to Nvidia CP I do see PC 1920x1080 (Native) and 240hz - BUT thats all I see ! lol The other UHD, HD listing is totally gone. Please see this video and screen to show you what I see. Video is of Nvidia CP "Change Resolution" part, and screen is what the CRU app looks like now after the change I did.

Is this ok ? Or did I screw up ?

Please advise - Thanks !

lol you're not supposed to delete the UHD, HD, SD settings because if you intend to use it for console gaming, it will look weird.

honestly man, just do a reset or restart (it has a retstart file when u downloaded cru).

Once you do that, open CRu and uncheck all the resolutions on the left boxes but do NOT delete ANYTHING. Just click add and type in 240.000 (make sure the resolution is 1920x1080).

for me, i have 3-4 different custom resolutions that scale to that monitor. Anyway, if you intend to keep the TV resolutiosn, all you have to do is restart CRU then uncheck all the boxes to the left, click "ADD", then type in 240.000, hit OK, then exit cru. That way, every thing will remain the same except the NATIVE resolution is under PC instead of UHD, HD, And SD

Ahhh, LOL - ok got it. Yea my bad. I will restore the original state and do it again. Anyone know the exact button pressing steps to restore to default in the CRU app ?

Ok, and once I do that.. I just uncheck all the ones on the left side.. delete *nothing*, BUT simply add.

Now I ask this, there are 3 box places to do this "add"... one is titled "extension blocks" (bottom box), one is titled "Standard Resolutions" (middle box) and one is titled "Detailed Resolutions" (top box). Which one do I add this to ?

Go to the cru folder and click on "reset-all.exe"

Oh ya i forgot to mention this. Once u enter your 240hz 1920x1080 in cru. After that, make sure you click on "restart.exe" in the cru folder or "restart64.exe" in the cru folder.(this depends on what ur operating system is. I use the 64 bit version of windows 10 so i used restart64.exe).
