I have a question regarding dc dimming flicker free monitors. For a while I have been considering a good eye friendly monitor to buy as my eyes are quite sensitive. My question are the fluctuations shown in the following graphs from (Rtings.com) changes in brightness or really brief instances of the monitor Turning off? Are these peaks and lows significant? Would there be any benefit in terms of viewing comfort if one chose to go with a monitor that has a flatter graph with less fluctuations or would it be too insignificant to make any difference?
From my current understanding If I were to rank the following monitors in terms of viewing comfort it would be in the following descending order.
Asus Pg279q
Acer NItro xv273
Alienware 2521hf
So this monitor is rapidily changing it's brightness in this instance?
A question about luminosity x time graphs and PWM.
