Is the XL2411P good for CS:GO Esports nowadays?

Post by phaze » 15 Jun 2020, 21:50

Hey,

I wanted to know if this monitor has very low input lag, etc, and worth it to buy it to be the main monitor for use and play at a top level in the CS:GO scene.

what are the pros/cons of the monitor. and detailed analysis for the input lag, actual response time, etc.

thanks in advance

It's still decent for the price, as it's really cheap, although there already are monitors that are much faster. You can check out RTINGS review for this monitor. Just google it.

Simply no, more noticeable when you have to move your mouse really fast, that's when the motion blur, input lag(its decent for this monitor, not esports level tho) hits the most
It might not mean its the "best" monitor, but if you check https://prosettings.net/cs-go-pro-settings-gear-list/
You will see most use XL2546/XL2540, meanwhile it's a really good it probably not the very best, more of a "if they use it, i should use it too", but at the end of the day if that's what the most pro's use it means they will be playing at the same playing field kind of

You can always overclock Xl2411P as shown in this topic:
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5544

That will help meanwhile you upgrade your monitor

Compared to newer TN panels it's pretty mediocre I guess.
