IPS Gaming Monitor Owners Please Help!!!!

Post by rane94 » 18 Jun 2020, 03:07

first of all im so desperate after i returned 3 PG279QE IPS monitors because of image rentetion after using https://www.testufo.com/ghosting Full Screen on 60hz and 144hz for 5-10mins and saw Image Retention like in this Images below:

i wonder if IPS Owners can test this and post it here if they got the same problem + the name of the monitor.

all you need to do is to run this test: https://www.testufo.com/ghosting with native resolution browser (100%) and then run the UFO Ghosting Test on 60hz for 5 Minutes on Full Screen and after the 5-10minutes passed open a clear Gray Image on full screen and check if you see any Image Retention like in the Images above.
same test on 144hz , 5 minutes UFO Ghosting Test Full Screen and then open clear Gray Image on Full Screen as well and check for Image Retention.

both tests have to be done separately on 60hz for 5mins then open a clean gray image full screen and check for image retention and then another test but now on 144hz or above for 5mins and again open a clean gray image full screen and check for image retention.

i know the original PG279Q doesnt have this issue but i saw many reports even on Alienware Ultrawide IPS,VG27AQ and XG279Q

like in those posts:

if you see any please post your monitor name so we could know.

thank you for any help guys.
