Hey man, got an update and bad news, sadly. According to brand-new review of VG259QM from RTINGS, very high input lag at fixed 60 Hz is also present in the smaller brother of VG279QM. From their test it even seems like the bigger variant is actually better in terms of response times and overshoot performance.

That's a shame, guess it's off my list just like the 27" variant, still interested to try the Acer Predators, and still waiting on my Alienware whenever that ships.
