I'm using overdrive on 120 I guess, still not sure. (I explained my situation a few messages ago) But what does "pushes to its limit" mean?
It means that the overdrive pushed panel performance towards the optimal response times for this specific panel. less voltage would cause more ghosting and slower response times, more voltage would cause faster response times with more overshoot. OD120 is the middle ground in this regard.

I think It basically means that we see the pixels very earlier, isn't?
Technically yes but don't look at it like it's an input lag thing. It means that a smaller part of the refresh window is spent trying to transition from color X to Y, which ends up improving motion clarity.

If it's something like that, it's something we have to do for gaming, am i wrong? Otherwise there is still a bit of overshoot there and if it doesn't give any advantage for FPS gaming, there is no point to do that. Because even when I am scrolling this page, I can see some overshoots and it's kind of disturbing.
You can roll back to OD60 if you feel like OD120 is too strong, personally I never had major issues with OD120 overshoot during gaming but overshoot perception is often a subjective topic.

Even though I don't feel any advantage of it, I'm happy with how OD120 looks. From what I read in this topic, I think it is the most optimal value for FPS gaming. The only problem, I don't know if I am on 120 or not. How can I check it? Also, I would like to know your opinion about ELMB Sync. I have my Adaptive Sync setting off, I guess I did it because somebody suggested it in the comment section of this topic. But I am not sure about ELMB Sync and it is on in my settings now.

Go check the overdrive in the OSD, it should look like this: https://i.imgur.com/d1fMQXR.jpg

Never use ELMB-Sync with Adaptive Sync enabled, this monitor and many other Asus ELMB-Sync monitors strobe twice due to a buggy implementation.

ELMB-Sync without Adaptive Sync is okay-ish but it forces OD80 by default which has some overshoot. I would only use it at 280hz because the overshoot of OD80 is unbearable at 240hz.

Like I mentioned here, my overdrive section was looking gray, not white. It was inactive, but I've just fixed it by turning off ELMB now. Now it is white in color and appears as 120. So what would you suggest for FPS gaming? I'm on 280 Hz and getting 200-270 FPS, should I use Adaptive Sync instead of ELMB now?

I guess increasing the overdrive to 120 is only recommended for those who can constantly get 280 fps in games, right? However, I wanted to increase overdrive to 120 to experience how it feels. But when it's overclocked to 280 Hz, the overdrive text becomes inactive. When I turn off the overclock it's switching to 60 Hz and I am being able to edit the overdrive and see it as 120. I don't know what is going on, pictures are below.

It's up to you, you should subjectively test and see if you prefer adaptive sync ON [with a proper fps cap] or OFF.

In your 200-270fps case scenario you should stick to OD60 if you end up using adaptive sync, this is because overdrives that are borderline overshooting at a higher refresh rate will often end up having too much overshoot when your fps drop too low, this is because there is no variable overdrive in 99% of non-gsync monitors.

Sorry but this is really complicated and now I am confused more

I am searching for ELMB vs Adaptive Sync topics on Google to have more knowledge, but found nothing. I don't think I'm gonna notice the differences between both settings by myself.

If you were in my shoes, if your goal was having some advantages for FPS gaming, what combination would you choose?

What I understand from your message, as someone getting 200ish FPS (not constantly 280FPS for sure), I have to go for Adaptive Sync on and reduce my OD to 60.

You'll get the lowest latency with fixed 280hz + OD120.

Which I use right now. But for this combination must i get constantly 280 hz? If no, alongside this combination for FPS gaming would you use ELMB or Adaptive Sync?

No, it's not a must.

I would probably disable both ELMB and Adaptive Syn, but as I said, it depends on how many fps you are getting.
