Btw, is that 60Hz input lag present on every firmware version (MCM103/104/105)?
It will always have high input lag when you manually set your hz to 60.

Do you own this monitor? What about refresh rates set above 60Hz; 75, 85 or 100Hz? At what point does it stop?

I own this monitor, no idea as I don't see a point ever setting it at any of those refresh rates. Consoles are 60hz, old school games on PC are 60hz, pretty much everything else you'll have at 280 or 240.

It's worth if you gonna use it for more than just gaming: content creation, photoshop, movies etc. Better colors and viewing angles on IPS panels do the work.

I moved to asus from xl2411z. I'd say Benq TNs for gaming are still KING.

I haven't used any Zowie monitor and came to conclusion that the only thing that Zowie is good at is DYAC+/backlight strobing, for anything else it's not worth getting. So if you need best strobing get CRT, if u need slim CRT get Zowie haha :D

My VG279QM arrived and it doesn't have such issue (firmware MCM103), but its still definitely slower than my other 60Hz monitors.
Some reviewers reported around 35ms of lag, mine is at least half of that.

What device did you use to test your input lag?

I did not use any device. It's very noticeable in this video, based on that I concluded its not that high.
