Do you turn on vivid pixel at all? A click looks sharper.

No matter what I try the two TN panels on the sides I have (XL2540, XB252Q) still pop a bit more. Is it because this is an AU Optronics panel and it's just going to be washed out?

I had a couple of 1440p IPS' a few years ago and I remember the PQ looking way better than the TN I had next to them, I just didn't like the smearing.
It does look sharper with Vividpixel but since I'm not sure about how monitor post processing affects input lag(and after reading a lot of people saying that it does) I tend to keep it off depending on the games I play(*), I noticed that it often does screw pixel colors, depending on the background the dot on top of the "i" tends to change color to light blue/white depending on the background of the text.
The only reason why it doesn't look super sharp is because of pixel coating, personally I find it to be enough for most of the games I play however in games like Rainbow Six it seems to hugely improve depth perception.

I tried finding a hidden sharpening setting with SoftMCCs but unfortunately I couldn't find one.

(*)I'm not entirely sure it does increase input lag, if I enable it during an ufotest I don't notice any stutter or flashing black screen from enabling this setting so I'd say it's either no input lag or very very very low input lag ( I tried recording at 480fps the exact moment when I turn Vividpixel 0 to 25 and it seems like the ufo keeps moving linearly without a single stutter, I'd expect a very small sutter caused by the moment it start post processing, but it's not the case. It's possible that VividPixel is not a post processing algohoritm and that Vividpixel 25 simply refers to Sharpness 25/100, in this case there would be no input lag)
There are many contradictory informations about VividPixel, it is definitely useful for some games and it is a great workaround to fix the pixel coating blurriness.

Edit: I just tested in an overwatch custom game (Key: TKBR3, for aerial aim trainer) playing 5 minutes with VividPixel OFF and 5 minutes with VividPixel ON, I personally didn't find any difference in input lag, the enemy outlines are a little bit more visible.
If you are a Rainbow Six Player I'd say you must keep it on (25 or 50), it is simply too useful when your are pixel peeking, especially considering that the TAA implementation in this game is very blurry.

I'm coming from a BenQ XL2430T to this monitor, and I really do miss the sharpness setting (0-10).
Vividpixel 25 looks like sharpness 5, but vividpixel 50 looks like sharpness 10.
Vividpixel 75 and 100 are completely unusable.
Does anyone have a clue if it's possible to modify the OSD configuration so we can get a setting in between 25 and 50?

if I do less than 240 fps as for example on apex how is it convenient to set the monitor? 240hz OD 60?
