Congratulations. Crazy series of events but fantastic it's working out!workerONE wrote: ↑22 Oct 2020, 18:52I got mine today- perfect so far. Super happy because last month I ordered an Aorus KD25F which was then cancelled as discontinued. Then I drove 2+ hours each way to get a PG259QN which had a broken screen, so I'm happy this one works and doesn't have stuck pixels. The motion is really good. After using a VG248QE w/ lightboost for the last few years, I'm impressed. I set up g-sync and rtss like this https://blurbusters.com/gsync/gsync101- ... ttings/14/

2+ hours for more than 4+ hours roundtrip for a large warranty claim paperweight? Ouch.
Next time I do any allday drives just for a monitor, I'm gong full MacGyver. I'd bring either a Jackery Power Station with a 120 volt AC power output, or a cigarette-lighter 120V car adaptor. Set up the monitor in my hatchback's rear and test laptop with it, before re-boxing-up the monitor for the return trip (if good) or play time-saving warranty roulette on the spot (if bad).
How did you get your broken-monitor warranty claimed -- another trip -- or shipping -- or talking to manufacturer?

I drove another 4 hours roundtrip to return it.
What brightness do you all use? TFT central said they calibrated to 18 but I'm using 35 right now, which should be about 200 cd/m2.

Hello
Please don't laugh
I have win7, gtx 970 connected DP ( just try update some DP firmware from NV) and can set max 240hz. Is imposible to use 360 on my rig?

You need Windows 10 and newer GPUs on DisplayPort for higher refresh rates.

Just got my PG259QN yesterday and am loving it. No dead pixels either.
Now I just need an RTX 3090 to keep those minimum frame times as high as possible. Yes, I know it's a premium and 3080 is way better value, but I'm part of the 1%.

If you are interested only in ULMB modes, in order to reduce motion blur, maybe this monitor work. Signal with these modes is FHD 240Hz or 144Hz, but internally monitor continue work at 360Hz scanout during strobing, GPU independent.

Which region? US?
I have been unable to get a PG259QN. I have it on backorder but they aren't fulfilling orders
