I know. So my first thought is: If I have the special mouse for it, so I can make settings/tweaks on my PC and check it with my mouse if the latency is higher or less. So it could give me the "power" of optimzing my system perfectly for the minimal latency. Or is it just a test, based on my GPU?

Watch the video on it it should give you more info, sounds like its for people that would easily just swap out their GPU CPU RAM etc and keep testing to find the lowest delay possible, I don't see a point of spending all this extra money for probably 1-3ms at the most unless you are making good money off esports.

How is the brightness with ULMB on? Have you been able to test it at different refresh rates? Do you know where/when they'll be sold online?

My apologies. I haven't tested ULMB yet. Mainly due to the fact its limited to 240hz. I had to get some content out there yesterday so that slowed me down on test. I've disabled GSync and have latest drivers and still not able to turn on ULMB. Reducing refresh rate to 240hz its still not an option.

Regarding sales, I was checking with extreme frequency and preordered shortly before BH pulled them to back order the day it showed only to move to preorder a few days later. I would never order from NewEgg and hadn't seen on Amazon at all. My Microcenter had the SKU show up a 2 days prior to one landing locally. The store only had 2 total and its extremely busy. I was surprised I managed to grab it as it was listed within 1 hour of checking the day I grabbed it. I just got lucky as I had the page on my MAC at the table and refreshed on opening. Best of luck. How does this monitor perform on 60fps locked games with VRR disabled, like Street Fighter V? I know allot of 240Hz monitors suffer from input lag at 60Hz so I’m just wondering if this monitor is in the same boat

I do not own any 60FPS locked games though I could cap a game at 60fps and test.. I did see in Hardware Unboxed Review they show a 4.39 GTG @ 60hz but I am not sure how to gauged their input lag chart. Input lag being the fastest they've measured but maybe that is highest refresh rate. I have not been able to disable VRR either quite honestly. There just isn't enough hours in the day. I played around dropping the refresh but simply could not get ULMB to work. I could not find a VRR option in the menu and ULMB is greyed out. I did see the online English Manual was updated https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/LCD% ... nglish.pdf but even lowering refresh rate via NVCP and Windows ULMB was greyed out. I'll let you know when I dig into this more.

Just wait for a Rtings review, they always test the input lag at max and 60hz. I think Tftcentral does too if I recall, and their review is out for the public in a few days.

No one can really tell you that, it's subjective. Buy it, try it out, return it if you're not convinced. Some people don't even notice or hardly notice a difference between 144 Hz and 240 Hz. I would not expect miracles or any major change, because as refresh rate gets higher, it's also progressively harder to notice the difference. Also, you need super high frame rate to match that 360 Hz refresh rate. It's doable in e-sport titles like CS:GO, of course. Response times are also not so far apart between these two ASUS displays.

There's 0.79ms less total processing lag on PG259QN thanks to its 360 Hz refresh rate (280 Hz scanout: 3.57 ms, 360 Hz scanout: 2.78 ms) when compared to VG259QM. Do you think you could tell the difference? VG259QM and VG279QM already have incredibly low input lag (below 2 ms for both). I want to test PG259QN myself, but it's gonna be too expensive, I'm afraid. I would argue if the price difference justifies performance difference between VG259QM and PG259QN.

Also remember that to fully utilize PG259QN in competitive setting, you should always have around 360 fps in-game, or at least be as close to this figure as possible. You could of course just use G-SYNC as well, especially if you're not really hitting that super high fps to utilize 360 Hz, at this refresh rate there's basically no lag difference between G-SYNC and V-SYNC OFF that would matter, at least from what I've been told by Blur Busters representative - jorimt.
