Post by Ziehesh » 30 Sep 2020, 22:46

Hello, I have a problem. On fps 130-180 i have tearing, the picture is not smooth in the game pubg. But only on 1 map on Miramar, on other maps with this fps everything looks smooth. What is the problem?

My guess would be you're using nVidia Gsync incorrectly or AMD's FreeSync incorrectly. It's worth asking if this just started?

If you don't use g-sync or vsync, you will get tearing. That's normal.

Is it normal that with g sink I get a blur when the fps is less than 120?

Lower FPS means more blur, but that should also be true without g-sync.

Have you tried changing the overdrive setting in the monitor's OSD? Also, is this the X 25 native g-sync model, or the X 25f g-sync compatible one?

This is native g sync.
How can I check for blurring? I think it worked better before, I turned g sync on and off too often in nvcp, could it break because of this?
Should there be less blur with g sync?

No.

It should be the same amount of blur as without g-sync. Can you test with 100Hz if the monitor supports that, and without g-sync? Do you see the same amount of blur then as with 100FPS at 240Hz with g-sync?

I enabled and disabled g sync in menu nvcp. Not in the nvcp app settings. A lot of times
