Here's my ASUS again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0DAKf9mTZc. It's pretty comparable to your XL2546K at 120 OD and much better than my XL2546K which had just a little bit less ghosting than your ASUS. Seems to me at this point it's just a panel lottery between the two monitors.
You definitely won the lottery with your VG259QM, my Benq performs much better than my Asus', I can see the 3 white squares separated on the Ufo when on the IPS it's just a line (the VG is much better than other 240hz IPS where the lines are not even separated from each other and create a single line across the entire ufo).

Maybe I should have tried to warm up my Asus a little bit before testing with the replaced panel.

Even with the new panel running ufotests for too long still ends up causing image retention...

Even though my old panel had a dead pixel it performed slightly better in motion blur tests.

Interesting observation about VG259QM and XL2546K. I have checked reviews of both these monitors on rtings(.com), and response time of Asus 'beats' BENQ in every single way.
But your experience explain more. Maybe response time doesn't mean everything..?
I'm using VG259QM currently and I am a severe FPS player(cod/apex/destiny2 fast pace fps). If I switch my monitor to 2546K , can I observe improvement instantly? Can you give my some more advice and experience, my friend?
RTings comparison shows that the VG259QM with OD60 beats the XL2546k AMA set to OFF, which is correct.

However there is absolutely no point in not using AMA High on the Benq, which provides the same G2G as the VG259QM with OD80 but with much less overshoot.

Check out this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJNy_ZOx8I0), on the left side it's the XL2546K with 14.7% and 1.7ms of G2G and on the right side it's the VG259QM with 8.6% overshoot and 2.6ms G2G.

TN panels are much better at dissipating overshoot artifacts.

my asus looks like yours on ufotest. At 280hz the ufo is lighter and has less overshoot than at 240hz with od 120

When I test my crosstalk on the strobe utility with my xl2546k my results are vastly different from what I've seen on this thread. The crosstalk on mine is a lot worse and I can't seem to replicate it even if I change it manually in the strobe utility. Furthermore, I'm not too fond of lowering the refresh rate to compensate for lower crosstalk, is there another way I can lower it? And what VT should I use at 240hz 1920x1080 when HT is at 2080? I'm pretty new to this so any help is appreciated!

I got the best results by using LCD Reduced and cranking up VT as high as possible + using blurbusters utility to manually fix crosstalk zones.

I'm not completely sure about what I'm going to say but I feel like the lower I go with HT the higher I can get with VT, is it maybe because there is a pixel clock limit? idk.

Small update, try shifting the strobe phase from 10 to 18 with Dyac Premium with the Blurbusters Strobe Utility, this way the first and last 2 rows have crosstalk and the rest is pretty much flawless.

I recommend AMA Premium since it completely eliminate any form of afterimage in the low crosstalk rows.

I still need more time to mess with VTs but I'm quite sure that I can eliminate crosstalk even further (I remember tweaking VT during my crosstalk video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YL7Q7FkC9kg but I recently reinstalled windows and reset my monitor so I still need to find that VT sweet spot)

Could use some help here.

Looking for a gaming monitor 24.5" or less. I pretty much value performance, smoothness and motion clarity over anything else.

I purchased all 4 of these because ive been laid off work and havnt had anything else to do. BenQ XL2546K, Lenovo 24.5 240hz IPS, Acer XF250Q 240hz TN and Asus VG259QM 240hz IPS.

Anyone with some feedback here to help me decide is grateful.

Ok so, I have used and played with/compared all 4 of the above monitors over the past month. I have narrowed it down to either the BenQ XL2546K or either the Asus VG259QM and maybe MSI Optix 240hz IPS(which is OOS everywhere and I havnt tried yet). The Lenovo 240hz IPS was fine, but kinda "blah" with like no OSD features at all. The Acer XF250Q seems to have a terrible OSD as well and I liked the monitor for the price point, but seemed to have decent ghosting going on and strangely could not change the overdrive in OSD menu or disable freesync either. So I ruled out the Acer.

Which would you pick?

My experience is this. I wanted the BenQ Xl2546K to be the obvious choice and for me to see a definitive difference over the others, but it wasnt. I like the BenQ but I feel like theres no way in hell its worth $550 after tax... I found the Asus VG259QM performs very very close to the BenQ XL2546K.

The XL2546K has like, by a very slim margin, the better motion clarity with DyAc+ over ELMB or non-ELMB with the Asus. Strangely, I felt like the Asus has a "smoother" general feel to it over the BenQ, but I couldnt put my finger on exactly why. With ELMB on, the Asus is very close to the same performance as DyAc+ on.

Playing with the BenQ with DyAc+ off, the monitor just feels like another TN panel and I would say is 100% not worth $500. Essentially youre paying $500 for DyAc+.

The Asus is only $320 before tax where as the BenQ is $500 before tax. If the BenQ was the same price as the Asus, I think I might pick the BenQ, but its not. The Asus definitely has the better OSD features.

Hello, I am the owner of xl2546s, and I really do not like the quality of the matrix, viewing angles and so on, but I really like the response of the monitor. Does it make sense for me to upgrade to 2546k, or 2540k (I don't need g-sync and dyac)

No, the panel is the same and the overdrive is only slightly improved.

Thats gonna be a no. Its the exact same monitor basically.

Hey Axaro, This might be a little off subject but I’ll do my best in trying to keep this post short and simple. I purchased a vg259qm in December when it went on sale to replace my XG2402. Mind you I mainly play FPS games valorant being my go to. After a good month of use age and really researching the monitorI came to the conclusion something wasn’t right. I felt as if I was missing a lot of shots, my bullets not registering etc. well tonight I happened to stumble across your post about the asus monitor and how you mentioned how you performed much better after going back to the xg2402. So I went ahead and did the same thing and oh my you were 100% correct. I’m super bummed about the monitor due to me really wanting a new upgrade but after my first game back on the xg2402 I was absolutely destroying enemies hitting everything I had previously not been able to. I’m going to go ahead and return the monitor but what would you suggest I do in terms of upgrading now. Really appreciate the post/feed back
