Yesterday i got the XL2546K: The colors and textures look great: Especially in PUBG and MW. U have a big advantage in spotting enemy's.

But I also play Quake Live. There's a huge difference in the amount of frags I can get with my XG2402 and the XL2546K. On the XL2546K I am just a regular player. Above average at best.

On the XL2546K I had a couple times where my plasma gun just couldn't catch up with the enemy or my mouse movement. I just switched back to the XG2402 and the difference is humongous.
On the XG2402 for example I am 9 of 10 at the top of the list on the servers I usually play. With the XL2546K its something like 3 out of 10. I like Quake Live just for that. It's a game where I am actually good at. I don't wanna give that up.

So unfortunately the XL2546K is going back to the store tomorrow for a refund.

I am going to give the 360hz a try. If its also mediocre @ Quake Live I'm going to stick with the XG2402 until the new Viewsonic 24'' 240 IPS comes out. Around next week the Alienware AW2521H 360hz should arrive. I will keep u guys posted.
Hey, just wondering what monitor you ended up with since i also play quake (and overwatch) and feel like the XL2546k is holding me back lol

For QL the ACER 390hz is a bit better. But I sold thatand went back to the XL2546K cause its leaps better in Apex, PUBG and Tarkov. In a month time the XL2566k ( 360hz ) should come out. The ultimate monitor I hope.

I'm also waiting for the 2566K but I'm using the Acer instead, the 2546K is indeed a better product strictly for competitive gaming.

I just read your comparison of the XG2402 vs 2546k and it's very relatable.

The VG259QM was my first upgrade from that monitor and since selling my XG2402 I've been chasing that type of motion clarity.
2.9ms G2G in a 7.2ms refresh window was truly something else, the closest I got to that experience was with the LG C1 with 120hz BFI.

The VG259QM, 2546K and XV252QF are all great monitors, but there's something special about the XG2402...

The XG2402 total response times average is 6.9ms with half of these total transitions being 100% compliant with 144hz, that's what I think makes it such a great product. You can distinguish every amount of information in the most chaotic gameplay situations.

I'm just hoping for the 360hz AUO TN to be fast enough for that 2.77ms window, if not, I might aswell give up on LCD and wait for LG 1440p240hz OLED.

Hello, I just got a legion 5 pro laptop with 16" 165hz display and find it a bit small to spot everything in game, so I'd like to get a monitor to pair it with

I am considering the xl2546k or xl2540k or good fast ips alternatives - it's for competitive fps use + couch gaming with friends

What would be best considering I have a laptop rtx 3060 (so I'm not sure I could always reach 240fps to make use of dyac, depending on the game) ?

Need help on how to setup my xl4546k for lower refresh (180-200hz, cant achieve 240hz in game) on stretched res 1728x1080 using CRU. I am unsure what timings to use for what refresh rates. Or a different solution to fix microstutters being amplified, specifically in apex. Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

Image

Via ChatGPT i managed to get this resolution. It works for 1600VT at 190HZ.

It's the best IMO on XL2546K.

Enjoy, kicefps.

Just wondering what are the best AMA settings to use without DYAC?
