Re: BenQ Zowie XL2546K 240hz TN
The current standard for most monitors tended to be 75Hz-100Hz. From what I remember, the original XL2540 was 75-240.AddictFPS wrote: ↑02 Dec 2020, 17:47I wonder what DyAc+ single strobe range has XL2546K, can't understand why is not in oficial specs. Is like know the VRR range, both is a must be.
XL2746S has max 240 min 100 (or maybe a bit less than 100, seems nobody has tested the exact limit, but at 60 is double strobing, unbearable "double image"). I wonder if this lower limit is removed in this new model, in order to play 60FPS locked games without motion blur, no matter flicker, is assumed like in old CRT monitors.

If it was 2$ to access a single review I'd definitely buy it but I'm not spending 10$

They generally don't release an early access review during the weekend so wait for next week

I just got the PG259QN and my game experience is noticeably enhanced compared to with the XL2546K. The higher refresh rate really makes a difference. My first gaming session with this monitor was really a pleasure. The game I play handles 360+ FPS in most cases, I enable G-Sync, vSync=Fast, FPS cap below 360.

So like should DyAc+ only be enabled when playing or keep it on all the time?

how does it perform at 240Hz in terms of motion clarity compared to the XL2546K.(with DyAc ON & OFF)?Inco^ wrote: ↑05 Dec 2020, 19:23I just got the PG259QN and my game experience is noticeably enhanced compared to with the XL2546K. Dyac+ can be a game changer in some games but the panel is very fast and clear even without dyac+, it truly comes down to personal preference.
There are some games where you'll need more general awareness and it will be a godsend and in some others where for example all you do is peeking angles and your main aiming startegy is solely focusing on the crosshair it will not have a lot of impact.
