question for those of you who use this in a multi-monitor setup. If you turn the power off, does it move your desktop + all windows to the other monitor? is there any option to change this? I ask this because my old dell S2716DG doesn't have this issue but other newer monitors I've tried do, and it's a deal breaker for me. Keeps throwing stuff to my TV and its a giant pain manually moving it all time after time with other "newer" 240/280 hz monitors.

I don't have this monitor but I have a Odyssey G9 that has issues waking from sleep, which causes windows to be moved around. I use a program called PersistentWindows to try to fix it, but it doesn't always work 100% for restoring windows to their proper positions.

i've cancelled my order because there is way too much asymmetrical blur at 360hz refresh.

at 240hz, the regular alienware aw2521hf has WAY LESS asymmetrical blur.

basically it's inferior to the regular aw2521hfl. Also, variable overdrive on the aw2521h is inferior becauase the aw2521hfl has variable overdrive range of 85-240.

honestly, i don't really think the 360hz alienware has variable overdrive given the fact that it's poorly tuned. The asymmetrical blur is unacceptable. Look at Bijan's UFO tests
Hey I recently ordered the aw2521hf and a BenQ EX2510 to compare, I've been following a lot of your posts as you play similar games as myself, thanks for the information!

The aw2521hf and aw2521hfL are the same exact panel/monitor besides the color being lunar light on the HFL correct? I went with the HF black color to match some peripherals.

Sounds great, does it do display scaling like PG259QN ? (setting in Nvidia control panel under "Adjust desktop size and position" tab)
Just got the monitor. I'm having trouble with display scaling. I usually run 1280x768 with custom resolution utility. It doesnt seem to work, I just get the aspect ratio and not full screen when I try to run 1280. Anyone else having trouble with display scaling?

It's here. And... it's considerably better than the PG259QN.

Pros:
- Right out the box, the colors are set properly.
- The stand is super sturdy (not that the PG259QN wasn't, but this is on another level)
- The presets... there are TONs and they are pretty good. Tweaking colors was considerably easier.
- It's just as fast / snappy with the 360hz, motion blur wise, it's about the same as the PG259QN.
- No dead pixels!

And this one has Nvidia Reflex analyser in the menu. Woo!

Cons:
- The dark mode boost works... but isn't very strong.
- There is no 'sharpness' mode like on my LG, that's a shame because it works really well on LG.
- The menu is good... but I still feel as if the interface can be improved.

And, both monitors have ULMB mode, albeit at 240hz (but I'm not using that since I'm running 360hz in normal mode).

Overall quite a nice experience. I'm VERY happy with this monitor, especially when compared to the PG259QN (I mean, it wasn't hard to beat seeing as the PG259QN had a dead pixel in the middle).
I’m the opposite to you, not had the Asus but have had 2 AW2521H monitors both with bright green pixels and one with a dead pixel, unsure if I should push for another return as I found Dell to be a waste of time and a pita

Dang, sorry to hear that. It's a pain to have dead pixels like that. I'm happy to report that mine has been going strong and running perfectly since I posted this. (I know it doesn't help you but I thought I'd update the others).

I thought Dell's return process was relatively easy? No ?

Well they did replace the original, and after going back and forth with them for a week about wanting a new replacement and not a refurbished, and then also being told I had to send the original back first and wait up to 21 days for the replacement to arrive, I felt it was unacceptable for a monitor I had only used for a few hours. I’m going through another replacement process with them atm, seems to be going a bit better but it’s still a drawn out process, taking photos of your name/details/Service tag/S/N while also getting a photo of the issue along side those details. They just aren’t up front about all the information they need and when it takes hours between relies it gets tedious. I actually wrote back to the email a few days ago and told them my replacement was also faulty and haven’t heard back from them at all so using the Dell community/Private message system
