Hi there,
I've recently purchased a LG 24GL600F monitor that looks to have horrible gradient banding.
I know it's a 6bit+FRC monitor, but my previous 6bit+FRC monitors have not had this problem. My mates with similar monitors also say that issue is not present on their monitors.
My colour settings in NVIDIA control panel, are as follows:
- Output Dynamic Range: Full
- Desktop Colour Depth: Highest (32bit)
- Output Colour: RGB
I've also tried using a HDMI cable, and a Display Port cable, but the problem still persists. I've also tried it on my Xbox Series X, and there's noticeable banding also.
My old BenQ GL-50HM monitor, and Dell ST2220L did not have this issue being a TN panel with 6bit+FRC.
Is there anything I can do, or should I return the monitor and get another unit or go with another monitor?
Thanks,
Ryan
