i am very satisfied with it and from my noob POV it is a nice monitor for daily use
but now i am thinking to buy a new gaming monitor to place near the AOC
so i am trying to study the tech behind the monitors to choose the right one for my tasks
my first step is to remember the main specs that my 21:9 has
IPS
60Hz
5ms (?)
3440x1440
(i used to play single-player games when i bought this)
I will keep this monitor so probably it makes no sense to buy a gaming monitor that has specs to replace the AOC
i mean, this AOC has high resolution and nice color of an IPS for daily use
the FPS gaming monitor could be instead a 1080p TN that is cheaper
and to cover the gaming task it should be 144Hz 1ms
so 1080p TN 144Hz 1ms should be the right pick
The budget for this gaming monitor is 300€
and on amazon in this price range i can find
1080p 24" TN 144Hz 1ms
1080p 24" IPS 144Hz 1ms
1080p 27" TN/IPS 144Hz 1ms
1440p 27" TN 144Hz 1ms
all 16:9
my gpu is a 1660super and i play FPS at low quality settings
i' am about 70-80cm far from the monitor
to filter my search 1440p 27" has the highest price between these and probably i have to change my GPU to play at 144Hz
the 1080p 27" i already read everywhere that it is a bad choice due the low ppi
so we are back to the 1080p 24" 144Hz as first choice
the fight is IPS 1ms or TN 1ms?
i have looked around on internet and i learned that it used to be faster the TN technology but nowadays are they head to head?
right now the options are:

wich one? and why? or others? or a 27"? or what?
