Chief xg2431 is ruined me. I am so spoiled with this clarity I can't enjoy playing games without it. I've tried to play new Zelda on tv its blurry mess. Below certain hz BFI is crucial than I thought.
BFI needs to be implemented on every screen tech , especially TV's desperately needs this 60hz-120hz BFI would be amazing on big screens. It is totally worth it to put time and effort into this. Wish more companies pays attention to this feature.
I am thinking about selling the other monitors I have because I don't use them anymore.

No; that's different brand of strobe backlight. Coca-Cola versus Pepsi

- ULMB is NVIDIA brand
- PureXP is ViewSonic brand.

I hope someday there'll be a monitor that combines decent HDR with BFI. As of this moment, I refuse to have blurriness in my games ever again even if the colors are prettier. Thank you to the Chief and his team for certifying the XG2431.

Perhaps here is better to ask: why in toastyx cru the edid shows horizontal scan rate range 255-255khz? No variance in between? Also weird because the out of box 240hz mode has horizontal scan rate at 278khz. I'm confused by these deviations and does the horizontal scan rate make any difference for the strobe crosstalk in purexp modes?

Hi. Just got the XG2431. And I'm experiencing an issue. Straight to the point. When enabling PureXP I was expecting to get all of my UFO's(in strobe utility) to act/look the same instead of that UFO's in upper part of my screen are looking worse(blueeiwe) than ufos in the middle(and bottom) part of my screen. Is it normal behavior for PureXP or my unit is defective?

Your unit is not defective. That is crosstalk. It's all discussed in the how to get zero crosstalk threads.

All displays have that problems, even BenQ DyAc+

You can greatly reduce and/or eliminate the crosstalk using refresh rate headroom and tweaking at www.blurbusters.com/xg2431

Does anyone have any success using the ECO modes? I'm trying to lower the power consumption of the monitor, but when I enable any of the 3 eco modes, I see zero difference in the readings from my killawatt reader. Does it have to be on a certain color profile or something?
