I've just received news that my order (placed at the beginning of September) should be delivered on the 12th! Fingers crossed it's still in one piece, lol

Re: ViewSonic Now Shipping XG2431 as of NOW!!! [Blur Busters Approved XG2431 - 24" 240Hz IPS]
The known long-delayed freight container ship(s) with the XG2431 containers docking ashore this month definitely jives with the known November ETAs. I don't know how many XG2431s are on those ship(s), but that's why there's an upcoming (small) surge of XG2431 quantity coming this month.
I do hope there's enough to satisfy demand, like lots of container packed full of XG2431s rather than just a couple of XG2431s sharing container space with baby diapers and cans of soup -- who knows. My imagination of container ship contents runs wild here, as shipping quantity is generally not specified by manufacturers even to vendors like me for trade-secret reasons. (Even if I remotely knew, my lips are NDA-zipped for numbers like that anyway). But one can hope that the dreaded "Unavailable" doesn't appear on Amazon often after November.
(Aside1... Most monitor brands keep this tight lipped, but all of this is a big reason a lot of preannouncements in North America (yet) have been held back. Some CES 2021 preannouncements have actually become CES 2022 preannouncements. That's how terrible supply-chain delays have become! That's all I can say within my confines of existing NDAs.)
(Aside2... Those well known shortages of GPUs, of chip fab capacity, of holy grail LG 42" and 48" OLEDs, of PS5 and XBSX, of car manufacturing, and other shortages, are also part of this dreg currently affecting many highly desired niche products, especially those containing custom chips including XG2431's scaler/tcon)
Pandemic delays, chip shortage, container ship capacity shortage, it never ends. I'm pulling my hair. If this continues, I'll have to downgrade my lunch to ramen noodles
I'm excited to see at least some supply finally landing!

actually it's being sold by PCNation, not amazon. not sure how legit that company is
