Hello everyone!!
After a while enjoying the xg2431, I finally had time and decided to do the QFT and CRU.
It's been difficult for me to get it to work. I have followed several tutorials and guides, and it didn't work for me.
Sometimes black screens and other times the crosstalk did not seem to change at all.
In the end, I copied the values from another forum member who posted a while ago and it worked perfectly for me. I have managed to completely eliminate crosstalk in 60 hz!!
It is a wonder!!
These are the values:
Horizontal vertical
active 1920. 1080
Front porch 88 4
Sync width 44 5
Back porch 148 3296
Blanking 280 3305
total 2200 4385
But I have the following doubt:
Even though I have copied the values and have not reached the value of 4500 VT,…
Am I getting the benefit of having reduced lag?
Glad you eliminated double-images on the ViewSonic XG2431!
Those numbers do often work better.
First, adjust strobe phase as late as possible (just before you see crosstalk above edge).
Then:
VSYNC OFF -- strobe phase benefit only
VSYNC ON -- use Special K Latent Sync or use RTSS Scanline Sync to steer tearline to end-of-VBI to reduce latency
Thank you very much for your always quick response
.
One last question, Chief, please!!
I tried using RTSS, but I don't know how it works and the tutorials I saw were a bit confusing.
I have a very powerful PC (Ryzen 7,7800 3D processor and a GTX 4090 graphics card and 32 GB RAM).
Do I really need to use RTSS to reduce lag when playing at 60hz?
That is, having such a powerful computer, the improvement with RTSS would be negligible. Is this statement correct?
And if I really need to use RTSS, could you tell me where to find an easy-to-follow tutorial?
Thank you vey much for everything.
And thank you very much for making such a fantastic monitor like the XG2431 possible!!!
Greetings
