The Russlan website says HDMI, and DVI. No DisplayPort?
There is indeed DisplayPort. That’s how I am connecting my preproduction unit.

700 usd would be fine for me if the monitor performs properly.
Properly meaning near HP Omen X 25 (not f version) motion performance without strobing
minimal blb and IPS glow
Good gamma curve and colors.
good OSD settings to tune colors etc, including a good shadow boost that ONLY touches the dark shades, and doesnt mess up the light shades like most does.

Heck, id probably give more than 700usd for that, would be better than pg259qnr for me.

How do you guys rate the $450 price? Does it sound legit for the product? I think the XG2401 cost me like 270€ back then.
That is very expensive for the spec. Overpriced "Elite" series just like XG270. I really hope it doesn't go over $400.
Similarly spec'd monitors are in $300-380 range I believe.
Looks like it will be a really nice monitor, but I can’t justify spending more than $400 for 24” 1080p. I really hope it’s under that.

Sure. Thats pretty crazy logic though. Who is dumb enough to pay $700 for a 24" 240hz monitor..... That would be as bat shit crazy as the gpu market right now.

Yeah, im not paying $450 unless it is an undeniable amazing improvement over XG2401, specially backlight bleeding because im tired of not seeing anything at night on movies and games.

It won't be priced in that stratosphere.

But that type of pricing may be required of thousand-zone low-latency local dimming (for OLED blacks in LCD). Future locally dimmed MicroLED-backlit 240-to-360Hz monitors coming in a few years. Imagine combining the amazing iPad Pro 2560-zone local dimming (2021 model, larger size), with a high refresh rate. Locally dimmed gaming monitors still currently cost 4 figures -- e.g. Predator X27, ASUS PG27UQ, etc. $700 would be a relatively cheap for OLED-quality local dimming in an esports gaming monitor.

But, no, the XG2431 isn't priced that high in North America if purchased from a retailer at non-scalper pricing.

yeah I just did a rudimentary currency conversion from that Russlan site, my gut tells me that they probably have to pay more for the import but also I have no idea what i'm talking about :D

Certainly, as a cautionary tale, I know with some brands -- that monitors priced retail <$400 USD in North America have sometimes showed up in certain EU countries for >$700 USD. This does not happen with all brands, but Russlan preorder prices aren't a reliable analog of North American prices. Either way, North America MSRP definitely is well below $700. I don't expect XG2431 will be scalper/bitcoiner material like GPUs.
