I am not able to pick either of the two on the VG248QE,

60 seems very "precise" , but 80 looks.. I dont know, a bit more crisp I'd say, at least by the images at PCMONITOR.INFO

Tracefree 60 has the best overshoot/undershoot balance, without having to play with "OD Gain" in the service menu.

Tracefree 80 if you want the absolute lowest input lag and response time (even though you won't be able to notice it in game)
TF 100 is horrendous.

I'd pick Tracefree 60.

80 is lower than 60 by how much that I wouldnt notice?

Also, changing OD Gain benefits only when TF=60? (setting it to 0F right?)

Don't mess with OD Gain unless you really seriously need to.

It's only useful with Tracefree 80 (and barely unless you have extreme OCD), or with Lightboost mode (Forces OD gain to 0F. 0C or 0B looks very good with Lightboost mode). I tried using OD Gain with tracefree=100, but the inverse ghosting is so extreme that it only starts looking good with an OD gain lower than 06, which is then totally pointless.

I haven't had this monitor in over 6 years so I can't really answer questions about it anymore.

Ye Im not going to use any strobing..

do u at least remember the value of the OD GAIN with TF=80?
and TF=100 is awful thats a given, Im only wondering about 60 or 80
