Thanks uwinho for your answer. What rudimentary test or thing you do to compare one monitor vs the other monitor in terms of input lag? Is it simply just pressing your mouse button for an action on the screen of the msi and doing the same action on the benq and noticing that the msi was a bit faster? Or do you use a more accurate or repeatable test.

It's worth to mention that I recently had a second unit of XL2546K and this time it was visibly affected by pixel inversion artifacts.
Hi, what does pixel inversion artifacts look like and why should they be avoided?

If the panel has the same backlight you could try the Blurbusters Strobe Utility to see if it can strobe. There is no way to enable it on the reworked OSD.

Gj, you just saved 200$ on the 2546K, 240hz Dyac on a 350$ monitor is honestly as good as it can get, what's up with Benq? Shouldn't the 2546K panel be more expensive? Are they struggling to keep up with production of the 2540K's panels?

Does it actually stay ON after closing the Strobe utility? alternatively it should work with the strobe utility open and closing the motion pursuit ufotest If I remember correctly.

It does. I know this since I had forgot to take it off and used it by mistake for 1 day, in CSGO -.-

If I may ask, what monitor did you own before getting the XL2540K and how does your old monitor compare to the XL2540K. I have an VG259QM and I’m not satisfied with its motion clarity, I’ve had it for 4 months. I tried OD120 280hz, OD80 240hz, OD100 235hz and I only play on OD100 240hz because it has the sharpest image. Would you recommend the XL2540K?

- I used my XL2546K in standard mode with Black Equalizer on 0 (not only because BEQ is buggy on the XL2546K, but also because I don't like using it in general.)

- The S and K versions have different OSD menus and different factory menus. The OD gain on the K versions doesn't have those numbers and letters. The OD gain can be adjusted from 0 to 15. On my unit, even with AMA off and OD gain on 0, there was still a powdery trail behind the UFO. Unlike a 280Hz IPS ACER I had next to it that had a normal blur trail behind the UFO.
Hi, is it possible that you can tell me your best settings for your main Asus VG258QM 280Hz TN monitor? I play only Apex Legends. I want to buy and test this specific TN panel, but I have no clue for good FPS settings.

btw: are you still happy with your VG258QM? :)

hey man,
I play alot of Apex on this monitor, recently I have been using overclock to 280hz , no Gsync , no ELMB, no in game Vsync (sometime double buffered if I am noticing screen tearing , input lag isn't perceivable if you can push high frames) , cap game FPS at 240 or 278 , OD lvl set to 3 on monitor, usually FPS or Racing color setting with a good amount of vivid pixel which I find helps to spot enemies.
Thank thats about it, feels really responsive with minimal motion blur . I find ELMB makes it too hard to spot enemies and input lag may be perceivable
