i have the MAG251RX and XL2540K on my desk to test them both and i kinda understand the ips has "less input delay" feeling but i highly doubt its actually a thing. i switched back and forth and i think the extra smoothness that comes from the tn because of the better motion clarity makes you think its some sort of delay cause the 240 ips feels kinda snappier. the thing is as soon as you get used to the tn smoothness it def. smokes the ips without a doubt cause you can see models so much clearer and everything becomes so natural. i also did alot of human benchmarks with 5 runs each and on my end the zowie always beat the msi with 10-15 ms on average. i think the way better motion clarity and the crazy boosted colours (super intense reds etc.) on the zowie r huge advantages when it comes to fps shooters like cs:go and valorant. the only ips that stands a chance against the new zowies is prob the 360 hz panel which i would love to try but 650 € is a little bit too much for my liking

so further testing done with both panels and i prob have to take that back and agree with sk1p the MAG251RX ips panel has some snappiness going on which the zowie is def missing. grinding cs dms etc. iv done some nasty rounds with the msi hitting almost 2 kd on warmup servers where even pros r playing. it feels like that shots def connect way better on the msi compared to the zowie and the mouse feels snappier and more crisp. even with bad pings like 70 and 64 tick on mm shots were connecting pretty nice and everything felt still nice and crisp, def something i didnt experienced before coming from a 144 tn. for me the msi feels way closer to the old crt with 0 input lag compared to the zowie. so yeah im most likely gonna send the zowie back but im def gonna miss the colour tuning of the zowie big time

Sweet. A first review on it. As what I kind of guessed, its pretty similar to the IPS version 9QM. Not sure if theres really any benefits to the 8QM. The IPS 9QM would have better colors and contrast. Maybe the 8QM has slightly better overdrive it looks like, but is of course worse in every other area.

the only really issue is the viewing angles, the 9QM still has a bad contrast compare to VA.

I have ordered the alienware AW2521HF, I know is not better in term of response time but I found it for 200 euros.
