Thanks for the very nice advices!

I'm new to this hobby and I'm filming with my crappy smartphone as did you guess :D Im not sure why people are saying that x25 f is not as good as x25. I compare my ufos to x25 and they look the same. I run ghosting test 960PPS and there is very little ghosting, not much even on the darkest scene. Not sure who makes these panels, is there any service menu to check panel manufacturer? On bottom of my monitor reads: Manufacturer: Qisda / april 2021

My previous monitors: Asus PG278QR, Acer XV272UKV 170hz, Asus VG27AQ, Odyssey G7 27", LG 27GP850b, Oled TVs, Asus PG279Q, VG259QM

One last smartphone ufo haha OD 3/4, Brightness 80, Contrast 50, 960PPS

Yeah looks very similar to non-f X 25. Perhaps slightly faster rising transitions with slightly less overshoot on the X 25 due to finer tuning, but that's pretty much it. Response time wise definitely not worth the extra money imo. Feature wise maybe.

Does HP allow RGB MYC color control? Have you tried playing around with those? I remember reducing the gain for green color on AW2518HF from default 100 to 99 also removed the ufo ghosting significantly. Same thing with contrast even from default value of 75 to 74 does the trick. Going lower keeps improving things.

Idk about the service menu. See what Internet says.

Just throwing in the X 25 (non-f version):

I paid 187€ for this new x25 f here in europe, not bad deal imo. I just cant use MBR anyway because it gives me eye strain and headache so I always seek for best monitor w/o it. Im running this monitor with 6900XT but im used to turn Freesync off and cap FPS around 300, sweetspot for the tearless gaming.

I dont know about MYC color control. Im allowed to change RGB sliders, I use ClickmonitorDDC to control my monitor. X25 f has a decent sharpness setting btw, big +.
