For anyone that owns this, how is the anti glare coating on it? Blurry? Better than matte? More like a matte or more like a glossy? I am very sensitive to any blurring on screen and would like as light a coating as possible. I currently use a viewsonic XG 2703-gs as the coating is extremely light. I have yet to find anything that is lighter.

But better than matte? Is it more towards a bit blurry or is there noticeable clarity compared to "low haze" mattes?

The glossy matte part makes it look premium tbh, or make the colors pop in kind of way..
Its not worse, but its not the best, so if theres a window behind you and the sun shines then ye it kinda glares, but its not THAT bad.
I enjoy this monitor nonetheless, I dont complain and its really fast for a 2K 240Hz monitor

It's a light coating. If you sit with the sun shinning behind you, it will cause glare problems. At night, it looks great and has no glare issues. It does make the overall image look clearer than the standard gaming monitor, but is less anti-glare.

Have you owned the viewsonic XG 2703-gs? How would you say it compares to that? Or the omen x27. Im wondering if its really better than the average IPS/TN/VN coating in that its more glossy than matte.

On a scale of 1-100, 1 being glossy and 100 being the Omen X27 coating I would put the AW2721D at around 30-40. If you hated how thick and grainy the coating was on the X27 and want something lighter but not completely glossy then the AW2721D is it.
