So the recommended route, if you can achieve 390 fps consistently, is overdrive extreme + vrb extreme?
Also, why does rtings recommend overdrive normal to extreme?

Are the colors better on this monitor then my current 360hz Alienware? Was thinking of upgrading not sure if it’s worth or not.

Will the blur busters strobing utility ever support this monitor? I'm sure we'll be able to get much better image clarity if we can tweak the timings ourselves.

so about this, i actually managed to get 390hz when i used AMD by downgrading to a really old AMD driver, i cant remember which version but it was somewhere here

The 390hz is basically overclocked frequency so yes you need to enable the oc from the monitor menuBTRY B 529th FA BN wrote: ↑26 Aug 2022, 09:06tl;dr wait, did you guys enable the overclock feature on the monitor to enable 390Hz?
Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
Hi, so I get the black flicker problem with the default cable and an amazon basics DP 1.4 cable so i'm using 360hz, my screen also goes black if i move the cable with my foot by accident- i was wondering if a different cable would fix both of these issues for me? I'm in the UK so recommendations have to be EU based. I was wondering if OD is better on normal or extreme for 360hz? I know that normal is recommended for 390hz but what about 360hz? is extreme fine?
