May I ask you what app do you use for better brightness and gamma?

Hey guys, I have a pc with rtx 2070 super + ryzen 3600 + 16 gb 3200mhz and i’m upgrading my 144hz monitor… I mainly play csgo, sometimes valorant and other fps titles and I would like to get as competitive as possible!
I’m considering the xv252qf because of ips + VRB as I’m fairly sensitive to motion blur, however I don’t think my rig can handle 390+ fps for most of the time…
So, does this monitor perform well at 240hz? Or I’ll be better of with a xl2546k(around $120 more expensive for a used one in my region)? I’ve looked at some charts and have watched a few videos but I’m not an expert, so I’m looking for help!
Any feedback is welcome! Thanks guys!
on the zowie u can scale on the display.

Thanks for the answer!! Ended up getting the xv252qf for price to performance reasons! Also if I end up upgrading my pc, I’ll be able to use it’s full potential!

Is anyone else getting better results tweaking Saturation instead of using DCI?

I just set red to 0 and while red became a shade of grey, yellow is still there, so I guess that I need to increase every single value and not just red, green and blue.

I'll interrupt a minute to say I'm impressed with the monitor. Wish it were bigger, but the blur is not what I feared and down grading from 1440p to 1080 fine. Also impressed by just how much high fps alleviate so many problems, from tearing to blur to lag. You have to put out the fps to let this monitor show them. The strobing looks fine to me (the screen gets brighter not darker) but it's also now acceptable for me to use adaptive-sync, V-sync or just run it raw with little penalty.

I believe that this monitor is, just like the 2546K, using some sort of overvolted backlight.

VRB Normal is 60% off duty cycle (according to RTings graphs) with 468 nits, that could only be possible with an overvolted backlight, especially since it's beating stock brightness with Max Brightness set to ON.

The improvements from using VRB Normal compared to strobing OFF are minor, it's VRB Extreme that squeeze clarity out of strobing.

I'm wondering if VRB Extreme is also making use of this backlight (most likely not, but I could be wrong), I don't know how much off duty cycle is supposed to scale with brightness, maybe with the updated Rtings monitor test bench we might get more data regarding off duty cycle duration of VRB Extreme.
