I'm very surprised by the response times of this monitor, from Bijan's review it truly looks like the best monitor on the market.

Why are other 360hz monitors performing so poorly compared to it? Is Nvidia causing both strobing and overdrive limitations?

in my opinion there is only 2 answers 2 that..

1. extra headroom 30hz+ regarding mbr
and
2. some sort of different type of algorythm in monitors chip

i can not think of anything else
and yes maybe something about nvidia..after all its a freesync monitor :)

What in the fucking fuck!? I write a reply in this thread, hit SUBMIT, and it doesn't post? EDIT: well that's ironic

Here's what I was trying to post:

Seen a 390Hz model at Micro Center but it's not the exact same marketing name. It's selling for $399 Acer AOPEN 25XV2Q Fbmiiprx. Did Micro Center screw up on their website naming this monitor or is this the same model? MFR Part#: UM.KX2AA.F03

I tested out this monitor yesterday for a whole day but ended up returning it. There was just something with the input lag that didnt feel right,t and my aim got really inconsistent. Maybe it was just my monitor that was defective, or that I needed more time to get used to it. but my PG259QN felt way better.

What GPU were you using with it and were you using Free-Sync?

I think you want to say you're surprised with pricing? Because its basically the same monitor experience as other 360Hz models. UFOs say it all. It could be Bijan used a bit strong words. He doesn't like even slight overshoot and always wanted 240+Hz strobing and got both with this monitor. He got excited ofcourse, who wouldn't be.

Acer in my opinion has the most confusing naming system and website out of all manufacturers. One wrong letter can get you completely different monitor. They need to do something about it.

Yeah, I don't think I'll go back to a Freesync monitor.

So.. between this and a BenQ for input lag and motion clarity at >240 FPS?

Mainly playing COD and some Apex, so fast mouse movement and eye tracking. I like the motion clarity of the 258qm @ OD 4 280hz but doesn’t feel quite snappy enough like the VG259QM, but handled motion worse enough for me to return.

Really interested in this one, hopefully can get some more input on it soon.
