Today I received the monitor.
One problem: I can not choose higher than 300hz. Even when I turn on OC in menu.
When I hard force 360+hz with cru, screen goes black. Anyone else experienced this?
Dont force frequency with CRU. Enable OC "System/Overclock/On". To erase everything you've done, in CRU "reset all" and then "restart" PC. Thats all.
I did all this. The thing is, I am afraid that factory reset maybe have caused this. Before I selected 360, and after 390. I was playing around with OSD settings and saved it on action profile. After that I did reset in monitor OSD and I could not select higher than 300hz anymore. Max I can get is 301. I dont use dual screen, and CRU reset plus reboot, and even displayport updates etc. didn't fix it.

This is the only thing ive done before missing the options 360hz till 390hz. I would not recommend factory reset through OSD :o

EDIT: Somehow I solved it, OSD and CRU reset, reboot, after that I kept it on 60hz, switched to 360hz somehow it forced back to 300hz, after that OC on in OSD, and miraculously I could choose 390hz and it stayed there!

It's a faulty one. As soon as I switched from vrr to vbr, it went back to max 300

Of course, I'm aware of this. This is just a basic graph demonstration.

I have to play around with it. Putting oc on or off and choose again 390hz and then it works.

The monitor is amazing without vbr and vrr it's really responsive and smooth. When I turn on vrr or mbr, I notice bit of input lag. I wonder if the 360hz with gsync modules give better experience with vrr and has less input lag etc than the xv252qf with a Nvidia gpu.

Shouldn't it work at 390Hz without any user input? I had a VG279QM TUF 280Hz monitor a little while ago and it would boot at 144Hz sometimes. I said enough and returned it. That's not how a users experience should be, it should work right out of the box no problems.

I'm really happy with my nvidia card and gsync monitor. I have the Omen X 25f and while I was using it I tried freesync and it was a noticeable increase in input lag, however I didn't have a gsync 240Hz monitor to compare with only disabling freesync. I've thought about giving the AOpen 390Hz monitor a try. I have a suspicion that I won't like freesync. I play with Gsync On + Vsync On with my PG259QNR

That is what I am thinking too! How come my refreshrate changes as soon as I want to turn on vbr or vrr... I have to go back to windows, oc off and on, and then choose again 390 hz and apply it. I paid € 590 for it. I am curious if anyone else has this problem that 390hz gets removed. The thing is, you aren't aware of it, until u check hz, or have the hz counter on in top right corner. Im really sensitive for changes and immediately could feel it was not 390hz when I changed something in osd.

I also have the omen x25f and am really slaying with it. With this monitor, vrr feels even more sluggish than the x 25f, but then again it's not Nvidia licensed like x 25f. Maybe I'll rma it and get the aw2521h or pg259qn... To experience it with my own eyes.

Guys anyone knows how much better is this in comparison with the VG279QM? I could get the Asus for $330 or the Acer for $550. I play CSGO (400 fps) and 1.6 (capped at 100 fps). Heard the input lag on VG279QM is really bad with low framerates?
