Question on 144hz Dyac

I really would like to invest onto a $500 240hz dyac monitor, but right now its just not viable. However, a $200 144hz dyac has been catching my eye which leads me to my question -
For $200~ is it better to get a 144hz dyac or a 240hz (standard) monitor?
I know for a fact that in Kovaaks 144 has a TON of ghosting on 144hz, so the dyac might be the better call for that. I also play a lot of Overwatch, and im not sure if the ghosting is more important to negate vs the smoothness of 240. I also don't know which would play better in Overwatch; in game I will always run gsync because the game also has a lot of tearing. 240hz would most likely fix the tearing (and not need gsync enabled), but I play really fast and high sens, so maybe opting in to dyac on 144 is more favorable.
