Is the 512 Hz limitation removed in windows 11?

Hi, I saw people using windows 11 for several days and then I had a question, did they fix the 512 Hz problem?

I'll ask immediately -- I have now fired off an email to Microsoft.

I know I have a Windows 10 Insider Build with a hidden registry key that raises the limitation to 1000 Hz. Since I'm involved in quite a few 1000 Hz related projects over the long term, I facilitated Microsoft in raising this limit, and have passed some of the information to some of my clients who need this feature.

Even if you can't test the mode, you can quickly test by creating a dummy mode in ToastyX CRU extension block (only the DisplayID has the capability) and seeing if it shows up in Windows Control Panel with the latest NVIDIA drivers. If it shows up, it's probably made it into Wndows 11. Generally, any GPU that can do 8K 60Hz single-link can do 1080p 960Hz (same bandwidth).

Does this limit still exist in Windows 10 or 11?

I tried, and 540 hz fake resolution does indeed work on Windows 11 and not 10. Any news on if Microsoft intends to fix this? When you say hidden registry key do you by that mean you dont know what/where it is and cant therefore share it? Or are you not allowed to? Would like computer to be ready when the rog 540hz arrives, and would be nice to be able to use W10 or even ltsc maybe instead of 11.

Update:
AFAIK, Windows 11 fixed the limit.

I think Microsoft intends 500+Hz to be the territory of requiring a Windows upgrade past Windows 10.
