Capture card not recognized in strobe utility with xl2546

Hi, I'm running an avermedia live gamer ultra at 1080p 240hz connected to my zowie xl2546.
Everything works great, my monitor is running at 240hz with the passthrough but when I open the strobe utility while connected through the capture card it says the monitor is not compatible.
Is there any way around this?
