If you don't use strobing than buying TN in 2021 is not a reasonable choice.
I don't know about that one man, lots of people claiming the IPS panels are still behind in motion clarity with smudged ufos compared to the TNs. And it makes complete sense to me too that it could be the case. I saw a credible user on here specifically saying even the best ips displays from 2020 are not cutting it for fast paced FPS games.

I bought a used HP omen X 25f from amazon for 200 bucks with some minor cosmetic defects around the edge. For some reason this monitor is not on the input lag charts at Rtings. It currently ranks top 10 for input lag in VRR with 2.6ms and not bad in 60hz too. So lets see if anything it's only 200 bucks and I can return it too. I will see how it compares to my previous best TN the VG258QR which was horrible at lower Hz like all other ASUS displays. Also I am considering the actual X 25 which has native G-sync module. Not sure how that will effect anything but still interesting to test out. Will get 25f tomorrow (Friday) and let you know my findings. Currently not satisfied with the VG248QG which I also bought used for 150 bucks.

As for the 360Hz models, yes they seem promising, but it's new tech and I will wait for round 2 models before even considering anything. Too many improvements ahead it seems and very expensive right now.

The omen x25f is much faster than vg248qg with much less blur. I am able to get sub 140ms at human benchmark, could not do it with 248qg or 258qr. I am kinda satisfied, will do more testing. It is also super fast in VRR mode at 180FPS but not as fast at 120fps. Performance degrades fast under 160hz or 144hz I am guessing.
