Hello everyone. Recently I came across news about the release of this model. Matrix 8 bits, 24.5 inches, response 0.4 ms MPRT - this should give good clarity in theory. Iyama specializes in the production of monitors, the quality must be good. Do you have any information? I'm waiting for xg2431, but maybe the choice will fall in the direction of iyama. There is such a video:

Re: iiyama GB2590HSU
There is no much information on iiyama monitors motion performance in general. If one of the newer fast IPS panels is inside and overdrives are well tuned then it should be good.
What is the price in your country? Do you have other options?
I think VG259QM and AW2521HF have the same panel - AUO M250HAN01.7

These monitors are 6 bit +. Iyama has 8 bits. They also have different response times. I think iyama has a different matrix. There is no point in releasing a new monitor on an old matrix, on which there are already successful solutions. It is not competitive.

Don't you read? Are you just writing? Firstly, this is indicated by me, secondly, it is indicated by the second link, and thirdly, it is indicated by the third link (information from the official website of Iyama).

Re: iiyama GB2590HSU
VG and AW are 8-bit panels (not 6+frc) as far as I know. VG can even do 8+frc 240Hz with few modifications.
Asus and Dell advertise response times of 1ms GtG, but Iiyama advertises 0.4ms MPRT, which are different types of r.times and shouldn't be compared. MBR needs to be used for MPRT. Panelook states 5ms GtG for M250HAN01.7 which is more realistic.
Idk man hopefully some here can give you feedback on GB2590HSU. I just wouldn't expect it to be any different from others is what I'm trying to saying. But ofc that is just my opinion and doesn't need to be true. Good luck

Re: iiyama GB2590HSU
The Aorus FI25F has the same advertised "0.4ms MPRT response time" (it is 8 bit as well) and from the little reviews I gathered of it, there was nothing impressive or better than its TN predecessor about it, which is the KD25F. They probably have the same panel but who knows.antiblur wrote: ↑11 Sep 2021, 03:58Hello everyone. Recently I came across news about the release of this model. Re: iiyama GB2590HSU
Still no info and reviews?
Iiyama is extremely well known, cheap and highly sold in Europe.
I can get it for 260€ (the Viewsonic XG2431 is 380€) and wished someone had measurments/infos on it.
